First step is to apply for a program and provide information about yourself. One of our team members will reach out to you for a video interview. We will discuss your interests, goals, and work situation to determine your eligibility and whether your participation will be a good fit for the group. Once you are accepted in the program, we will ask you to choose a program and pay the initial deposit to book your spot.
Our participants must either have a remote job, be self-employed, be an entrepreneur that can work remotely, or be a graduate student.
We do not provide a job. If you have a job that does not allow you to work remotely, we can help present to your employer regarding remote work opportunities.
Applicants must be between 24 and 55 years of age.
Depending on your citizenship, you might be required to obtain a visa. US, Canadian, and EU citizens have visa-free access to most of the countries in which we travel. Once you submit your application, we will review your travel requirements and guide you through the process.
Yes, your family and friends can visit you as guests. Please note certain limitations apply to guests staying overnight in WiFi Artists-provided housing.
Our goal is to provide similar accommodations for all participants. Some accommodations will have extra features or slightly larger rooms. The distribution of rooms will be based on a random draw, which we will conduct in our pre-trip planning calls.
Our monthly trips have different prices, for details, please see our Trips page. Please note that you cannot book more than 3 consecutive trips at a time

You can book your Nomad House at least 3 days before the check-in date as long as there is availability. You can also extend your booking during your stay as long as there is availability.
You can cancel and receive a full refund within 24 hours of booking.
You can receive credit and use the proceeds for a different WiFI Artists Program or book a different Nomad house as long as you notify us 45 days before the check-in date. The booking is not refundable within 45 days of the check-in day.
The initial deposit can be transferred to a different program at least 60 days prior to the program’s start date.
No, the participants buy the flight ticket to the program destination themselves. Flights are not included in the program cost.
Most of our apartments are 2-5 bedroom apartments conveniently located in the center of the city, in vibrant districts, or close to the main attraction (such as beachfront properties in Bali).

We don't want you to be stuck in traffic or spend time commuting. Our goal is to maximize your free time and convenience so you can see and explore more of each location. Our properties are conveniently located either in the city center or near main attractions.
Most cities we visit have coworking spaces which are either walking distance or a short ride from your apartment. If the program takes place in a remote location (such as a villa in the mountains or near a beach) without nearby coworking stations, we will provide a WiFi-equipped workstation on the property.
You can work from your room, common areas in the apartment or from the nearby coffee shops. Medellin has a very vibrant co-working coffeeshop scene. You can also upgrade and receive access to a co-working space which is minutes away from our apartments.
We select locations with only the most reliable WiFi connections. Our local teams test to ensure all our locations have reliable WiFi prior to your arrival.
We will provide a local SIM card in each country.
Your program leader will be with you every day in each country. This person will be your main point of contact and can help you with anything from technology questions to canceled flights or lost luggage. Our program leaders are trained individuals with experience in management, conflict resolution, and psychology, and they’ve each traveled to at least 20 countries. You will also have the support of a local team at each destination. Local teams are part of a professional travel agency and can help you navigate throughout each location.

Yes, we schedule at least one organized tour each week. Most of our tours take place on weekends. We have at least three scheduled activities each week that you can join. Our travel agency and other local agencies can help you book any additional trips that are not part of our program.
You are not required to stay with WiFi Artists throughout the entire duration of your trip. You can skip activities, take a wellbeing week and watch Netflix, or take a side trip. At the end of the day, freedom is what we’re chasing.
We understand that sometimes life happens and unexpected things come up. If you need to leave the program early, you are free to do so, and our travel consultant will be there to help you.
You are not required to stay with WiFi Artists members throughout the entire duration of your trip. You can skip activities, take a well-being week and watch Netflix, or take a side trip. At the end of the day, freedom is what we’re chasing.
This is one of the benefits of the Nomad House, your stay is less structured compared to a WiFi Artists program.
WiFI Artists program has a team lead, structure, start and end date and organized activities. The team lead will travel with participants and organize the activities, tours and skillshare activities.
Nomad House does not have an official team lead (participants usually volunteer to be an unofficial team lead), so it is more relaxed. Depending on the group, there might be fewer group tours and more local activities. One of the advantages is you can start anytime.
You are welcome to join a different program, continue on to another program, or take a break and visit home to see family and friends. If you complete a 12-month program and want to stay on the road, we will invite you to apply for a team leader position.
After your trip, you will have lifetime access to the network of all WiFi Artists program participants. Additionally, you will receive travel-related perks and special offers from WiFi Artists. Artists who travel for more than 3 months will receive free access to multiple places around the globe a few times per year (based on availability)
Your safety is our number one priority. Here’s how we take care of your safety and security:
Hire and train qualified team leaders who will be with your group every day.
Provide access to local teams (contractors of WiFi Artists) who can answer questions or guide day-to-day activities, as well provide support in emergency situations.
All participants will be covered under WiFi Artists' international emergency insurance. This insurance will provide support in case of extraordinary situations. Please note it is neither health insurance nor travel insurance.
